• Supervisors are responsible for supervising and training workers in safe work practices.
• Supervisors must enforce company rules and ensure that employees follow safe practices during their work.
• Employees are expected to participate in safety and health program activities, including reporting hazards, unsafe work practices, and accidents to supervisors or a safety representative, wearing required personal protective equipment, and adherence to all applicable international and national health and safety regulations.

• Ensuring that the resources needed for the environmental management system are available.
• Communicating the importance of effective environmental management and of conforming to the Environmental Management System requirements.
• Ensuring that the Environmental Management System achieves its intended outcomes.
• Directing and supporting people to contribute to the effectiveness of the Environmental Management System.
• Promoting continual improvement.
• Supporting other relevant management roles to demonstrate their leadership as it applies to their areas of responsibility.
